Frequently Asked Questions about our CBD Bites
Will I see the benefits of CBD Bites immediately after giving it to my pet?
Each animal will react differently to our CBD Bites. Some will show a response within 5 minutes while others may take up to an hour. You know your pet better than anyone so when giving the CBD Bites, take time to carefully observe your pet. If you do not see a difference within an hour, give another half or full serving. Essentially, all animals a different and you can give the CBD Bites as needed.
How many treats should I give at a time and in a day?
We recommend 1mg for every 10lbs. For example, if your dog weighs 30 pounds, the serving size should be 3 treats (3mg). This can be repeated every 6-8 hours or as needed. Again, each animal will react differently to the CBD Bites.
What is the shelf life CBD Bites?
As with ALL of our treats, we don’t add ANY preservatives. We guarantee the integrity of the treat for 12 months, but quite honestly, they can last for 3+ years.
How should I store the CBD Bites?
We recommend storing our treats in a cool, dry place.
My dog won't eat the treats but I think they could really benefit from CBD. Is there another way to use the treats?
Although most dogs and cats find our treats irresistible, we still have an occasional pet who is too finicky to even try the Bites. To solve this, we created our Appetite Flakes… Bites that are simply smashed into small flakes. You can easily do the same with the CBD Bites by crumbling them over your pet’s food.
How long does one serving last?
One serving of CBD Bites (1mg) will last 4-8 hours depending on the pet.
How long does it take to see results from my pet using CBD Bites?
You should see the benefits almost immediately. Cannabinoids are not cumulative, they work right away.
Is it possible for my pet to overdose on CBD Bites? What if my dog accidentally eats the whole bag?
It is not possible to overdose on CBD Bites because we remove 100% of THC, the psychoactive cannabinoid used to “get high.”
