Glucosamine Sulfate

Glucosamine sulfate has been studied for well over 40 years and it has been used in prized thoroughbred horses, cats, dogs and even exotic animals. Glucosamine sulfate is found naturally in the body. Glucosamine sulfate has been shown in clinical studies to regrow cartilage, slow the progression of joint deterioration, and possibly even modify the disease itself.

The latest major clinical trial, under the direction of the National Institutes of Health at thirteen distinguished U.S colleges, using taxpayer’s, not a manufacturer’s-dollars, reveals that glucosamine sulfate is effective in treating moderate to severe knee pain due to osteoarthritis.

Glucosamine sulfate works to improve the health of joint cartilage. It has been shown to be an effective treatment for osteoarthritis in animals. Research has shown that glucosamine sulfate also has some anti-inflammatory effects on the joints.
